Job summary

Halfords is seeking a capable supervisor to help run a department on the sales floor, leading a small team and coaching colleagues to deliver market-leading customer service. You will be at the gateway to management, supporting the store team to ensure excellent service delivery and develop your career.

This role includes key holder responsibilities, adherence to security and stock loss procedures, and participation in our extensive training program to support progression within the Group.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading a small team
• Experience delivering great customer service in a retail or services environment
• Experience delivering on-the-job training / coaching to others
• Experience working to tight deadlines
• A track record of achieving exceptional results against sales targets
• Ideally, some knowledge in motoring or cycling, but training is provided

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of a department and coach team members to deliver top service
• Assist store management to ensure best service delivery to customers
• Hold key holder responsibilities and follow in-store security and stock loss procedures
• Invest in training and development to help colleagues progress toward management roles
