Job summary

Halfords is seeking a capable supervisor to oversee daily department operations and lead a small team on the shop floor. The role includes key holder responsibilities and supporting store management to deliver outstanding customer service.

You will mentor colleagues, drive sales targets and participate in training initiatives, with opportunities for progression within the Retail division and the wider Group.

Qualifications

• Experience of supervising or leading a small team.
• Experience of delivering great customer service ideally in retail or services.
• Experience of delivering on the job training / coaching to others.
• Experience of working to tight deadlines and achieving sales targets.
• Ideally some technical knowledge in motoring or cycling; technical training provided.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of a department and supervise team members.
• Act as key holder and support store management to ensure service excellence.
• Follow all in-store security and stock loss procedures.
• Invest in training and development to help colleagues progress in their careers.
