Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced retail team. You will help customers, stock shelves, process payments and maintain a welcoming store environment.

You will deliver friendly service, follow safety procedures and contribute to overall store performance. Depending on duties, you may participate in post office operations and related checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers
• Stock shelves and ensure product availability
• Process payments at tills and assist with checkout
• Keep store clean, tidy and well-organised
• Assist with stock replenishment and store appearance
• Support in seasonal, community and charity events
• Adhere to safety procedures and Think 25 policy when serving age-restricted products
• Respond quickly to assistance calls and service interruptions on self-checkouts
