Job summary

Tesco’s One Stop is looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will provide excellent customer service, stock shelves, handle payments and help maintain the store’s appearance.

You will work to improve service through on-the-job coaching, support safe store operations, and assist across all areas of the store to meet customer needs. You will help keep the shop welcoming and well organised for accurate transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, stock shelves, process payments and help maintain store appearance.
• Contribute to service improvements through on-the-job coaching and feedback.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment where available.
• Assist across all store areas including online, tills, replenishment and stock routines to meet customer needs.
• Keep the store clean, tidy and organized, ensuring aisles are clear of congestion.
• If applicable, clock in and out at the start and end of each shift to ensure accurate pay.
