Job summary

One Stop, part of Tesco, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced retail team. You will be the face of the store, delivering friendly service, handling payments, stocking shelves and helping maintain a welcoming shop floor.

You will engage with customers, take part in on-the-job coaching and driving clean, safe store operations. If Post Office Local is present, duties may include Post Office tasks and background checks where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers on the shop floor.
• Stock shelves and ensure products are neatly displayed.
• Process payments at tills accurately and efficiently.
• Support store operations and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist with seasonal and community events and follow store policies.
• Comply with age-restricted product procedures and safety rules.
• Support the Post Office Local duties if applicable and pass required checks.
