One Stop Stores Ltd is hiring a Customer Service Assistant in Milton Keynes. You’ll work in a fast-paced retail setting, delivering excellent customer service, stocking shelves and processing payments while helping maintain store appearance.

This role emphasizes welcoming customers, participating in community events, and adhering to safety and company policies to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with passion and pride, providing natural service.
• Encourage customers to give feedback via the Have Your Say survey.
• Work across all areas of the store including online, tills, replenishment, vending and stock routines to meet customer needs.
• Follow training to ensure all work is performed safely.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Understand store performance and the part you play in delivering profit.
• Follow policies, be welcoming, and clock in/out to ensure accurate pay.
• Follow security procedures and wear safety equipment where available.
• Apply the Think 25 policy when serving age-restricted products.
• Respond quickly to assistance calls on self-service checkouts and explain actions to customers.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, organized workspace with clear aisles.
• May run the shift in the absence of the Shift Leader and Store Manager.
• Follow all training to keep yourself, colleagues and the store safe and legal.
• If the Post Office Local exists, perform day-to-day post office operations and pass required background checks.
