Job summary

John Lewis Partnership in Liverpool is seeking a Customer Assistant to deliver outstanding service and create memorable in-store experiences. You’ll engage with customers, understand their needs and help them find the right products.

You’ll maintain shop standards, support till operations, stock levels and displays, and work flexibly across shifts including weekends. Training will cover product knowledge and our commitment to customer care.

Qualifications

• Basic IT literacy is required.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Experience in a customer-facing role is welcomed but not essential, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inspirational customer service at every stage of the journey.
• Use product knowledge and training to drive sales and increase profits for the Partnership.
• Put the customer at the heart of everything you do and resolve queries.
• Support the wider team with till operations, stock replenishment, price ticketing and shopkeeping tasks.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement practical solutions.
• Help protect profits by ensuring accurate stock counts.
