Job summary

John Lewis plc in Southampton is seeking a Customer Assistant to deliver outstanding in-store service, create engaging shopping experiences and keep displays, stock and cleanliness at the highest standard.

You'll work varied hours with a National Night Premium payable for hours from 22:00 to 06:00 (£3.75 per hour). The role is temporary with hours across seven days, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Basic IT literacy and numeracy.
• Strong communication skills with customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inspirational customer service at every stage of the customer journey.
• Use product knowledge and training to drive sales and profits for the Partnership.
• Put the customer at the heart of everything you do and resolve queries.
• Support with till, stock replenishment, price ticketing and general shop-keeping tasks.
• Identify areas of improvement and implement solutions.
• Help protect profits with accurate stock counts.
