At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part-time In-store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Halifax store on a permanent basis. 21 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week, and here at Arcus, we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working options. Our shift patterns include early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 07:00 - 10:00
• Monday: 13:00 - 16:00
• Tuesday: 13:00 - 16:00
• Wednesday: 13:00 - 16:00
• Thursday: Day off
• Friday: 13:00 - 16:00
• Saturday: 09:30 - 16:00

You will also have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery
• Carrying out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies when required.
• Working outside to keep trolley bays clean and debris-free.
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.

Arcus will support you through full training.

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on-the-job training will be provided. An eye for detail and cleanliness, along with a positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service, are important.

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of employment.
