Job description

Job Title: Part-Time In-Store Cleaner

Arcus is seeking a dedicated part-time In-Store Cleaner based at Sainsbury's Sale store. This permanent role offers 26 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.21, with an immediate start available.

Shift Patterns

Our stores operate 7 days a week. The current shift pattern for this role includes:

• Sunday: 06:30 - 17:30
• Monday: 04:30 - 08:30
• Tuesday: 04:30 - 08:30
• Thursday: 04:30 - 08:30
• Friday: Day Off
• Saturday: Day Off

Additional hours may be available through overtime, and there are options for 5 or 6-day working patterns, including early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, with weekend work included.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery
• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies as needed
• Maintain outdoor areas, including trolley bays, keeping them free of leaves and debris
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided

• Positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service
• Must provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance
