At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit 2 part-time In-store Cleaners based in Sainsbury's Macclesfield store on a permanent basis. Role 1 is 17 hours and Role 2 is 15 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week, and Arcus offers various shift patterns, including early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift patterns are:

• Role 1 - 17 hours: Sunday off, Monday off, Tuesday 12:00-16:00, Wednesday 12:00-16:00, Thursday 12:00-16:00, Friday 12:00-16:00, Saturday 12:00-17:00
• Role 2 - 15 hours: Sunday 14:00-19:00, Monday off, Tuesday off, Wednesday off, Thursday 16:00-21:00, Friday off, Saturday 05:00-10:00

You may have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery
• Carrying out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as needed
• Maintaining external areas like trolley bays, keeping them free of leaves and debris
• Applying all health and safety procedures

Arcus will support you through full training.

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided. An eye for detail and cleanliness, along with a positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service, are important.
