Job Title: In-store Cleaner

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit 2 part-time In-store Cleaners based at Sainsbury's Macclesfield store on a permanent basis. There are two roles available: Role 1 for 17 hours per week and Role 2 for 15 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start is available.

Shift Patterns

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week. We offer various shift patterns, including 5 and 6-day working options, with shifts in early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening, including weekends. The current shift patterns are:

• Role 1 - 17 hours
• Sunday: Day off
• Monday: Day off
• Tuesday: 12:00 - 16:00
• Thursday: 12:00 - 16:00
• Friday: 12:00 - 16:00
• Saturday: 12:00 - 17:00
• Role 2 - 15 hours
• Sunday: 14:00 - 19:00
• Monday: Day off
• Tuesday: Day off
• Wednesday: Day off
• Thursday: 16:00 - 21:00
• Friday: Day off
• Saturday: 05:00 - 10:00

You will have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery
• Performing thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are maintained to high standards
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies as required
• Cleaning outside trolley bays, keeping them free of leaves and debris
• Applying all health and safety procedures

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.

An eye for detail and cleanliness, along with a positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service, are important.

Note: You will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App, which is used for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of employment.
