Job Title: Retail Catering Supervisor (Part-Time)

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, one of the UK's largest healthcare systems, employs around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, extending to 2.2 million with regional and national services.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 3pm to 7pm. Please note that the salary is pro rata for part-time hours.

Department Overview:

The Retail Department at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital seeks a part-time Retail Catering Supervisor. The role involves overseeing catering duties within our onsite retail outlet, ensuring high standards of customer service and food safety.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Serving NHS staff, patients, and visitors.
2. Supervising catering assistants.
3. Ensuring Health and Safety compliance within the department.
4. Completing all HACCP documentation.
5. Handling cash and banking procedures.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
