Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Retail & Café Assistant in Warminster to join a busy team. You will deliver friendly customer service, operate tills, handle transactions, manage stock rotation and support promotions.

The role requires a welcoming approach and a commitment to high standards of food safety and presentation. You’ll work 20 hours per week across 5 days from Monday to Sunday, with onsite parking and 18+ eligibility for age-restricted products.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or over to sell age-restricted products.
• Retail experience is a bonus, but not essential; full training provided.
• Commercial awareness and focus on supporting store performance.
• Willingness to learn about products and confidently share knowledge with customers.
• Confident using digital systems, tills and store applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, welcoming and efficient customer service.
• Operate tills accurately and handle customer transactions with confidence.
• Receive deliveries, replenish stock and ensure products are rotated.
• Support promotions and loyalty initiatives to drive customer engagement.
• Keep the retail and café areas clean, tidy and inviting.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and responsible retailing standards, including checking ID where required.
