Job summary

Sodexo in Warminster is recruiting a Retail Supervisor to lead a busy operation, support your team and ensure every customer enjoys a great experience. You will be hands-on, organized and capable of leading by example to maintain high standards in service, food safety, presentation and compliance.

You'll supervise day-to-day retail activities, manage stock, cash handling, and develop both military and civilian team members while delivering engaging events and customer-focused service in a

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and people-management abilities.
• Strong customer service experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience across retail, food service and bar/leisure operations.
• Good working knowledge of spoken and written English.
• Willingness to work towards an NVQ or equivalent supervisory qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day retail operation, ensuring company policies, procedures and operational standards are consistently followed.
• Support, supervise and develop military and civilian team members, promoting a positive, inclusive and collaborative working environment.
• Manage stock ordering, security and control, alongside the safe and accurate handling of cash in line with company procedures.
• Support the development, delivery and promotion of events and attractions to increase customer engagement and use of retail, bar and leisure facilities.
• Deliver excellent customer service by responding to feedback, supporting consumer surveys and ensuring company brands and service standards are consistently represented.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, Food Safety, COSHH and Quality Control, while continuing personal development and acting as Duty Manager when required.

What you bring:

• Previous customer service experience in a supervisory role is essential.


• Experience or willingness to develop skills across retail, food service and bar/leisure operations.


• Strong understanding of customer service, health and safety, food hygiene and workplace standards.


• Good leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to support and develop a team.


• Relevant supervisory qualification, such as an NVQ, or a willingness to work towards an equivalent qualification with appropriate support.
