Job summary

Sodexo Group in Warminster is recruiting for a Retail & Café Assistant to deliver friendly customer service, operate tills, and keep the café and shop area inviting. You will handle stock, assist promotions, and maintain cleanliness to ensure a great customer experience.

Full training is provided; candidates must be 18+ to sell age-restricted products and be comfortable with digital tills and store apps in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or over to sell age-restricted products.
• Retail experience is a bonus, but not essential — full training will be provided.
• Customer-focused with a willingness to learn about products and share knowledge with customers.
• Confident using digital systems, tills and store applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, welcoming and efficient customer service.
• Operate tills accurately and handle customer transactions with confidence.
• Receive deliveries, replenish stock and ensure products are rotated.
• Support promotions and loyalty initiatives to drive customer engagement.
• Keep the retail and café areas clean, tidy and inviting.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and responsible retailing standards, including checking ID where required.
