Job summary

Deer Park School, part of the RAISE Education Trust, is seeking an enthusiastic Internal Suspension Manager to lead restorative practices and oversee the Internal Suspension Room in our secondary school.

You will work with the Pastoral Team to support students' wellbeing, address behaviour concerns, and mentor students while fostering inclusive teaching strategies and strong relationships with families and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in secondary education, inclusion or pastoral roles.
• Strong understanding of restorative practices in schools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Train staff in restorative practices to address behaviour concerns.
• Oversee the Internal Suspension Room and report student trends to Head of Years.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop inclusive teaching strategies.
• Mentor key students and build relationships with students, parents and external agencies.
