Deer Park School is seeking an enthusiastic Internal Suspension Manager to lead the Internal Suspension Room, collaborate with the Pastoral Team and Deputy Headteachers, and implement restorative practices to support students’ learning. As part of our commitment to staff wellbeing RAISE Education Trust is trialling a two week half term break 19th to 30th October 2026. Following this trial, should the Trust revert back to a one-week October half term break from 2027 the contractual working weeks would increase to 39 weeks and the salary would increase accordingly.

Our Interval Suspension Manager will champion a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students in our secondary school. This leadership role is focused on implementing a transformative approach to behaviour management, emphasising reflective and restorative practices.
Having operational oversight of the Internal Suspension Room and develop and lead the focus on reflective and restorative practices,and positive reinforcement to help students to reengage with their lessons.
You will have very good interpersonal skills and be confident in dealing with students, staff and parents on a day-to-day basis.
