Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager in Scotland to lead both kitchen and front-of-house operations. You will drive a high-quality customer experience, manage a dynamic team, and ensure health and safety compliance across the restaurant and food service areas.

You will contribute to achieving commercial targets by driving sales, controlling stock, and supporting events and store activities within a supportive, team-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of restaurant management in hospitality.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene.
• Ability to coach and train staff at all levels.
• Commercial awareness and ability to drive sales.
• Ability to work with budgets and meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the restaurant operation, kitchen and front of house.
