Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a responsive repairs contracts manager to join our client in Beeston, near Nottingham. The role focuses on managing repairs and maintenance, adaptations and minor capital works within budget and policy constraints.

You will lead contract delivery, supervise staff, ensure health and safety, maintain client relationships to hit KPIs, and provide relief cover for the Head of Delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing repairs across multiple trades.
• Strong IT skills including MS Office and database use.
• Proven project management and contractor oversight.
• Knowledge of statutory and regulatory obligations related to servicing programmes.

Responsibilities

• Manage repairs and maintenance services within budget and policy constraints.

Responsive Repairs Contracts Manager

Hourly rate: £41ph umbrella

We are seeking a Repairs Contracts Manager to join a leading Housing associations internal DLO This role is based in Beeston and offers a temp to perm arrangement. The successful candidate will manage and control employees on repairs and maintenance, adaptations, and minor capital work, ensuring the provision of an effective and best value service.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage and control the provision of repairs and maintenance services, ensuring compliance with budgetary and policy constraints.
• Conduct comprehensive inspections of properties as necessary, specifying and valuing the extent of work to be undertaken.
• Ensure all team members adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Manage client relationships effectively, ensuring KPIs are met and all works are completed on time, within budget, and to the agreed standard.
• Provide relief cover for the Head of Delivery and assist in all aspects of their role.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Significant experience in managing repair and maintenance work across multiple disciplines.
• Strong IT skills, including experience with databases and Microsoft Office packages.
• Proven project management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all team members.
• Knowledge of statutory and regulatory obligations related to the delivery of servicing programmes of work.
• Experience in contractor management and ensuring contract adherence.
• A valid driving licence is required as travel to other business locations is necessary.
