Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Repairs Manager to lead responsive repairs across East London and Essex. You will oversee supervisors and frontline teams, manage direct labour operations and external contractors, and drive productivity and KPI performance.

Repairs Manager

Location: East London / Essex
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Salary: £58,000 - £67,000 per annum, depending on experience

The Role

An established housing provider is seeking an experienced Repairs Manager to lead responsive repairs across East London and Essex.

You will manage supervisors and frontline teams, oversee direct labour operations and contractors, drive productivity and KPIs, improve resident satisfaction, and ensure financial and health and safety compliance.

About You

You will have:

• Experience leading large maintenance teams and managing responsive repairs.
• Strong knowledge of direct labour operations and contractor management.
• A track record of improving customer satisfaction and performance against KPIs.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and maintenance compliance.
• Strong commercial awareness, financial skills and stakeholder management abilities.
