Job summary

University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a Service Coordinator to join the Respiratory Outpatients team. The role involves coordinating clinics, RTT validation, and cross-cover for Long Covid and Pleural/Bronchoscopy services, ensuring timely access and patient care.

You will support the Outpatients Booking Team, manage clinic templates, monitor e-RS triage, and contribute to service improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Educated to A level standard or equivalent.
• NVQ III or relevant admin experience.
• RTT/Clinic Management/Waiting List or relevant experience.
• CLAIT HISS/PAS experience; Excel, PowerPoint, ORMIS.

Responsibilities

• To co-ordinate and provide cross-cover support to Respiratory specialised clinics.
• Manage patients and professionals through defined pathways for on-time appointments.
• Provide support and guidance to patients, carers and others per RTT guidelines.
• Prospectively manage specialised clinics and slot availability to maximise efficiencies.
