Job summary

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced respiratory physiotherapist for a part-time 0.5wte post in the respiratory outpatients centre (TRC).

You will lead a team of physiotherapists, assess and treat patients with complex respiratory conditions, and participate in MDT clinics as well as in inpatient and community settings. The role includes on-call work and weekend duties, supporting student education and contributing to service development.

Qualifications

• Experience in respiratory physiotherapy for complex conditions.
• Proven skills in clinical assessment and care planning.
• Demonstrated ability to work within MDT settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead physiotherapy care in respiratory outpatients.
• Contribute to MDT clinics and inpatient/community cases.
• Support students and supervise junior staff in clinical work.
• Participate in complex respiratory case management, including airway clearance.
