Job summary

British Airways is seeking a Resource Delivery Manager to lead live deployment and translate workforce plans into real-time operational performance. You will manage a team, monitor risks, and drive delivery improvements to keep the operation running safely and efficiently.

In this role you will work closely with Planning teams, support disruption periods, and ensure decisions are data-driven and aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Able to hold an airside pass - Essential.
• Proven experience in resource delivery or operational deployment, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Essential.
• Experience leading and developing teams, embedding performance standards and driving consistent delivery - Essential.
• Confident working with planning and delivery systems, supporting issue resolution, testing and compliant system usage - Desirable.
• Experience working with operational stakeholders, Trade Union partners and third-party suppliers - Desirable.
• Able to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and control - Essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver short-term, data-driven resource and training plans with accurate handover to operational teams.
• Lead and manage a team, driving performance through clear KPIs, SLAs and quality standards.
• Monitor real-time risks and resource gaps, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation.
• Use systems and data to support decision-making, resolve issues and improve delivery processes.
• Work closely with Planning teams and stakeholders to ensure aligned, effective delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement through insight, reporting and process enhancements.
• Support operational delivery during disruption, including out-of-hours when required.
