Job summary

Joining Careers Education is seeking 6 x Residential Support Workers to join our team in the United Kingdom. You will work in an Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) children's home, delivering supportive care and trauma-informed approaches.

You will earn up to £14 per hour, with sleep-in payments of £50 per night. We offer specialist monthly CPD training, diploma progression, clear career pathways, gym membership after 3 months, and access to wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in an EBD Children's Home setting.
• Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce/Children's Residential Care, or actively working towards this qualification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding and practical application of Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Approaches, including PACE.

Essential Criteria

• Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce/Children's Residential Care, or be actively working towards achieving this qualification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A good understanding and practical application of Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Approaches, including PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy), when supporting children and managing behaviours.
