Candl Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker for a children's home in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. The role focuses on supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and leading a team of Residential Support Workers.

You will work full-time (39 hours per week) on a permanent contract, with pay £16.25-£16.85 per hour plus £62.64 per sleep-in.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Children & Young People, Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• At least 12 months' experience supporting children and young people.
• Previous experience within a children's residential home.
• Experience supporting EBD, SEMH or challenging behaviour.
• Confidence supporting colleagues and taking responsibility during shifts.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and professional boundaries.
• Flexibility to work long days, weekends and sleep-ins.
• Full UK driving licence.

Make a Real Difference in Children's Residential Care

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join a children's residential home in Hemel Hempstead, supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Senior Support Worker or experienced Children's Residential Support Worker looking to take on greater responsibility and continue progressing within children's residential care.

With approximately 4-8 sleep-ins per month, sleep-in payments could add around £3,000-£6,000 per year to your earnings.

The Role
