Job summary

CareTech Northwest in Lancaster is seeking a Children’s Residential Support Worker to help young people with daily routines, school readiness, mealtime routines and keeping care plans up to date within a warm, homely home. You’ll deliver emotional support, build trusted relationships, work with sleep-ins (average 8 per month) and collaborate with senior staff to track progress.

A driving licence is essential and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Willingness to pursue Level 4 in Children's Residential Care.
• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Strong communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with daily routines, school readiness and meals.
• Keep care plans up to date and ensure feedback is heard.
• Provide emotional support and build trusting relationships.
• Work as part of a team with senior staff to share updates.
