Job summary

Caretech is seeking a Residential Support Worker in Culcheth to support young people in a family-like home. You will help with morning routines, meals, and daily planning, while ensuring care plans are up to date and reflecting the needs of each child.

With a focus on safety, encouragement, and personal development, you will work as part of a team to build trust, provide emotional support, and organise engaging activities both in-house and on trips.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential child care is essential.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow care plans.
• Candidates should be able to use digital records daily.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with daily routines and getting ready for school or college.
• Update and maintain care plans; ensure feedback from children is recorded.
• Work as part of a team and provide emotional support.
• Promote individuality and tailor approaches to each child.
• Complete regular admin tasks including care plan updates and records.
• Assist with light housekeeping to maintain a welcoming home.
• Build trusting relationships and participate in activities and trips.
