Job summary

Compass Community is seeking a Bank Support Worker to join our children's homes in Downham Market. You will work with children and young people in care, building trust, supporting education and activities, while safeguarding and nurturing their development.

No prior experience is required; we provide a thorough induction and ongoing training. A valid manual driving licence is preferred, with flexible working patterns to fit around you.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is required; comprehensive induction and ongoing training.
• Must be 22 years of age or above to meet Ofsted regulations.
• Valid manual driving licence (preferred).
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with children and young people in care, meeting their needs and safeguarding them.
• Meet a variety of children and young people, some requiring high levels of supervision and support.
• Assist with care of our children and young people, supporting activities, hobbies and education.
• Create timetables and set boundaries and expectations for the children.
