Job summary

Compass Community seeks Bank Support Workers for Compass Homes to help children in care with daily living, activities and education in a supportive, non-judgemental environment.

You will be part of a caring team, receiving comprehensive induction and ongoing training, with flexible shifts and DBS checks as standard. A valid driving licence is preferred and appointments are subject to references.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; suitable for caring, patient individuals.
• Must be 22 years of age or older and able to build positive relationships.
• Comprehensive induction and ongoing training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people in care with daily activities and routines.
• Build positive relationships while safeguarding and promoting well‑being.
• Assist with education, hobbies and outings under supervision.
• Create consistent timetables, set boundaries and maintain organisation.
