Job summary

Compass Community seeks Bank Support Workers to help children in care with warmth and reliability. You’ll build trust, foster self-esteem and support their journey into adulthood in a non-judgemental environment.

No prior experience is required, as full induction and ongoing training are provided. A valid driving licence is essential for this role, and you’ll work within flexible bank patterns to suit children’s needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 22 years of age or above to meet Ofsted regulations.
• Caring, compassionate and able to build positive relationships.
• Has a valid manual driving licence.
• Comprehensive induction and ongoing training provided.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with children and young people in care, putting them at the centre of everything you do.
• Create positive relationships with them, meeting their needs and safeguarding them.
• Meet a variety of children and young people, including those needing higher supervision and support.
• Support with activities, hobbies and educational pursuits, using your experience and training.
