Job summary

Compass Community is seeking a Bank Support Worker to help transform the lives of children in our care. You’ll work in a residential setting, building positive relationships and supporting children and young people through daily activities, education and personal development.

No prior experience is required, and you will receive a comprehensive induction, ongoing training and supervision to grow in the role. Flexible hours and a bank support worker position offer meaningful, long-term impact.

Qualifications

• Must be 22 years of age or above.
• Caring and able to build positive relationships with others.
• Has a valid manual driving licence.
• Previous experience is not essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with children and young people in care, meeting their needs and safeguarding them.
• Meet a variety of children and young people, some requiring higher supervision and support.
• Assist with care of children and young people, supporting activities, hobbies and education.
• Create timetables and set boundaries and expectations for the children.
