Job summary

Aspris is hiring a Residential Support Worker in Rocester, United Kingdom. The role centers on providing safe, nurturing, and stimulating care for young people who have faced emotional and academic challenges.

A full UK driving licence is required to support activities and outings with the children. We offer continuous CPD and development opportunities, with clear pathways for progression within the residential team.

Job description

At Rocester Childrens home we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, yet stimulating environment in which young people of all ages who have previously experienced emotional, social and academic failure and rejection in order to stabilise their behaviour. We believe that wherever possible children and young people benefit from living within a family environment therefore we try to replicate a caring and supportive setting, and so the objective of the home is to provide opportunities for each young person to learn and grow and make informed choices about their own future, whilst offering an environment in which they can take time to rebuild and move forward from any bad experiences in their life

As a Residential Support Worker, you will be at the centre of the fun! Taking young people to see their friends, trips to the cinema, partaking in community events such as fundraisers and galas, teaching the young people to cook, encouraging them to be independent and many other brand new opportunities that they may never have had the chance to do previously. This role allows you to really make a difference to the lives of those under our care and to build strong relationships with the young people and staff alike.

Due to Location a Full UK driving licence is required
