A leading children's care organization in London is seeking a Residential Manager to lead the children's home and ensure the delivery of high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in residential settings. This role includes managing staff to support the psychological, emotional, and social development of children. Applicants should hold a Level 5 Diploma and have a background in child welfare.
To lead and manage the children's home consistent with the approach and ethos of the organisation, delivering outcomes and high-quality care as set out in the home's statement of purpose.
Managing the residential home on a day-to-day basis, ensuring it is compliant in meeting all relevant legislative and contractual requirements, including the health and educational needs of young people. The role of a Residential Manager is the person with overall responsibility of the Children's Home and is accountable for the delivery of a high quality of service provision, incorporating care, welfare, safety and security of all children and young people in their care in order for them to achieve a secure base. Supporting, leading and managing a team of staff who will provide protection and support the children with their psychological, emotional & social development.
