Job summary

Wiltshire College & University Centre – Lackham Campus seeks a Residential Accommodation Services Manager to lead the residential provision, creating a welcoming home-from-home for students. You’ll shape welfare, safeguarding and a high-quality experience.

You’ll manage the team, oversee day-to-day operations, ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with staff across the college to support student independence and development.

Qualifications

• Experience managing residential accommodation or student services.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge for under-18s and welfare.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the residential team to deliver a professional, student-focused service.
• Oversee day-to-day management of residential accommodation and quality standards.
• Create an inclusive community where students feel safe and supported.
• Ensure safeguarding and Care Standards compliance for under-18s.
• Manage student welfare, pastoral care and risk management.
• Oversee admissions, room allocations, and on-site health and safety.
