Wiltshire College & University Centre – Lackham Campus is seeking an enthusiastic Residential Accommodation Services Manager to lead our residential provision and shape a safe, welcoming home-from-home for students living away from home.

You will manage a dedicated team, oversee admissions and room allocations, ensure safeguarding and health & safety compliance, and work with cross-campus colleagues to support student wellbeing and development.

Competenze

• Experience managing residential accommodation or student services.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge for under-18s.

• Lead and inspire the residential team, providing a positive and student-focused service.
• Oversee day-to-day management of residential accommodation, upholding high standards.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive residential community where students feel safe and supported.
• Ensure residential services for under-18s meet Care Standards and safeguarding requirements.
• Take responsibility for student welfare, safeguarding and pastoral care, addressing concerns promptly.
• Develop opportunities for residential activities and enrichment to foster independence and personal development.
• Collaborate with curriculum, safeguarding and student support teams for joined-up support.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, external agencies and partners.
• Oversee admissions, room allocations, arrivals and departures.
• Ensure accommodation meets health, safety, security and cleanliness standards.
• Manage staffing, budgets and resources for an efficient service.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and develop the team to drive continuous improvement.
