Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Team Leader for a busy residential property department in Middlesbrough. You will lead a team, manage your own caseload and drive ongoing growth with focus on client care and compliance.

The role requires extensive residential conveyancing know-how, a track record of supervising teams, and a strong commercial approach to develop relationships with clients, agents and referrers while upholding CQS standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' PQE or equivalent experience.
• Extensive residential conveyancing experience.
• Experience managing or supervising a conveyancing team.
• Strong knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Understanding of CQS requirements and quality standards.
• Commercial and business development mindset; able to grow the department.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the conveyancing team within the residential department.
• Manage own caseload alongside team supervision.
• Maintain CQS accreditation and high compliance.
• Build relationships with estate agents, brokers and referrers.
• Drive business development and growth of the department.
