Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer for a Middlesbrough law firm to join and help develop its growing property team.

You will manage your own varied caseload, handling sales, purchases, freehold/leasehold matters, remortgages and related transactions, while building relationships with clients and referrers to generate new business.

Qualifications

Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer.
At least 2 years' PQE or equivalent experience.
Strong residential conveyancing experience.
Ability to manage a caseload independently from instruction through to completion.
Excellent client care and communication skills.
Commercially minded and able to develop new business.
Experience with both freehold and leasehold matters.
Experience of commercial property would be desirable but is not essential.

Responsibilities

Manage own varied residential conveyancing caseload.
Provide a high standard of client care while helping to grow the department and client base.
Develop business relationships with clients, estate agents, brokers and other referrers to generate new business.
Handle residential sales and purchases including freehold and leasehold transactions.
Oversee remortgages and buy-to-let matters.
Assist with new build transactions and Help to Buy, where applicable.
