Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer for a Middlesbrough law firm to join and help develop its growing property team.

You will manage your own varied caseload, handling sales, purchases, freehold/leasehold matters, remortgages and related transactions, while building relationships with clients and referrers to generate new business.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer.
• At least 2 years' PQE or equivalent experience.
• Strong residential conveyancing experience.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently from instruction through to completion.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Commercially minded and able to develop new business.
• Experience with both freehold and leasehold matters.
• Experience of commercial property would be desirable but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage own varied residential conveyancing caseload.

Job description

The Role

You will manage your own varied residential conveyancing caseload, providing a high standard of client care while helping to grow the department and its client base.

Your caseload will include:

• Residential sales and purchases
• Freehold and leasehold transactions
• Re-mortgages
• New build transactions
• Help to Buy
• Lease extensions
• Buy-to-let matters

The successful candidate will also play an active role in business development, building relationships with clients, estate agents, brokers and other referrers to generate new business.

About You

• Is a qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
• Has at least 2 years' PQE or equivalent experience
• Has strong residential conveyancing experience
