Job summary

Places for People in the United Kingdom seeks a resident services advisor to engage with residents, promote safe and independent living, and reduce isolation. • Experience in housing management or social care is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Good computer skills, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of welfare benefits, rent and service charges is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Engage with residents to promote safe, independent living and reduce isolation.
• Provide advice on rent, service charges and benefits claims.
• Support customers with their financial needs and liaise with the income recovery team to reduce rent arrears.
• Complete compliance checks throughout the building.
