Job summary

Great Places Housing Group is recruiting a Housing and Wellbeing Officer to support customers in achieving greater independence within a customer-focused environment. You will work under the Housing and Wellbeing Manager to promote independence and move customers towards self-reliance.

Key duties include assessing needs, coordinating access to services, coaching on occupancy responsibilities, safeguarding, and carrying out tenancy and health and safety tasks in line with policies.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Institute of Customer Service or willing to study towards
• Minimum level 2 in English and Maths
• Experience in customer-focused environment is desirable

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to identify strengths, development needs and risks, and develop plans to build independence
• Help customers access other agencies and services in the wider community
• Coach customers to maintain their occupancy agreement and understand responsibilities
• Encourage and respond to customer feedback, including handling complaints and compliments
• Ensure safeguarding concerns are dealt with promptly in line with guidelines
• Manage tenancy tasks including voids, repairs, allocations, lettings, rents, and adaptations
• Carry out Health and Safety duties as directed and follow procedures
