Job summary

Orchard Lodge in Armagh is a purpose-built care home providing residential and nursing care, including dementia support. We seek an Activity Co-Ordinator to create a varied schedule that promotes wellbeing and enjoyment for our residents.

You will plan, organise and deliver group and individual activities, working with the care team, families and external partners to meet diverse interests and abilities. The role is 36 hours per week and offers an attractive hourly rate with benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating group and individual recreational activities.
• Ability to plan, organise and facilitate a range of activities.
• Observation and reporting of resident responses.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and care team.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, planning and delivering group and individual activities.
• Engage with residents in one-on-one or group activities.
• Setting up activity areas and gathering supplies.
• Ensure accurate updating of records and systems.
• Stay informed about wellbeing activities and trends.
• Undertake other duties as designated by the Home Manager.
