Job summary

MMP Consultancy Limited is seeking a proactive Resident Liaison Officer to support delivery of works programmes. You will work closely with Contract Managers to facilitate resident consultation and involvement, ensuring residents are informed and engaged throughout the process.

You will have experience in social housing or local authority environments, with the ability to manage challenging situations and communicate effectively at all levels, including residents, managers and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing or local authority work.
• Proven ability to liaise with residents and manage vulnerable groups.
• Experience supporting planned works programmes.
• Ability to handle challenging and complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Attend Resident Surgeries and assist vulnerable residents reporting repairs, keeping residents and scheme managers updated.
• Organise consultation events and attend meetings as required.
• Identify vulnerabilities and liaise with housing officers or support services; record in systems.
• Investigate and report complaints and MP/Councillor enquiries, ensuring timely resolutions.

MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit a Resident Liaison Officer. We are looking for an enthusiastic professional to play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of works programmes. Working closely with Contract Managers you will assist in resident consultation and involvement.

Responsibilities:

• Attend Resident Surgeries and assist vulnerable people reporting repairs, keep residents and scheme managers up to date on progress
• Organise consultation events and attend meetings as required
• Identify vulnerabilities relating to individual residents and liaise with client's housing officers or support services where necessary. Work with our Performance Team to ensure and identified vulnerabilities are accurately recorded within the organisations systems.
• Investigate, register all complaints and report in accordance with company and client procedures. Ensure all MP, Councillor enquiries and complaints are investigated and resolved efficiently and within target and advising residents and clients of their outcomes

Ideal Candidate:

• Present previous experience of working within Social Housing or Local Authority
• Resident Liaison/Community Engagement capacity
• Experience of supporting planned works programmes
• Experience of handling challenging and complex situations
• An effective communicator at all levels, you will be able to work proactively and independently to deliver on tight timescales
