Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group is partnering with a well-established contractor to recruit a Resident Liaison Officer for Medway, supporting external planned maintenance on occupied social housing properties.

You will be the primary contact between residents, the client and site teams, delivering excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle. A proactive, professional attitude and full UK driving licence are desirable.

Resident Liaison Officer

Location: Medway

Salary: Up to £35,000 + Package

Job Type: Permanent

We are currently working with a well-established contractor who is looking to recruit an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join their team in Medway, working on an external planned maintenance programme across occupied social housing properties.

The Role

As the Resident Liaison Officer, you will be the key point of contact between residents, the client and site teams, ensuring excellent customer service is delivered throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining positive relationships with residents.
• Carrying out pre-start visits, resident consultations and pre-condition surveys.
• Keeping residents informed of planned external works, timescales and any programme changes.
• Managing resident queries and resolving complaints efficiently and professionally.
• Coordinating access arrangements with residents, contractors and site teams.
• Carrying out regular site and resident visits throughout the works.
• Conducting resident satisfaction surveys and maintaining accurate records.
• Liaising closely with site teams to ensure residents are kept informed and disruption is minimised.
• Supporting the successful delivery of external planned maintenance works to occupied properties.

What We\'re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer within the Social Housing, Planned Maintenance or Construction sector.
• Experience working on external refurbishment or planned maintenance programmes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational and administration abilities.
• A proactive, approachable and professional attitude.
• Ability to build strong relationships with residents, contractors and clients.
• Full UK Driving Licence is desirable.
