Job summary

East Suffolk Council is recruiting a Resident Liaison Officer to support the Warm Homes Wave 3 Delivery Team in Lowestoft. You will be the main contact for residents, coordinating access, information, and liaison between residents, contractors, and retrofit assessors.

The role requires engaging with residents, managing expectations, and maintaining records. A full UK driving licence and GCSEs in English and maths are essential, with flexible hours and hybrid working options available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within housing, construction or related sector.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to engage with residents and stakeholders and manage challenging situations professionally.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.
• Good IT skills and attention to detail.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and mathematics.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Attend residents' meetings as required that could be outside of normal working hours.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for residents during energy efficiency works.
• Coordinate property access and liaise between residents, contractors and retrofit assessors.
• Engage regularly with residents to support access and a positive customer experience.
• Maintain accurate records and audit trails throughout the delivery.
• Assist in overcoming barriers to access and coordinate communications.
