Job summary

East Suffolk Council in Lowestoft is seeking a Resident Liaison Officer to join the Housing Investment team. You will act as the main contact for residents during energy efficiency improvement works, building positive relationships and providing information and support on the programme.

The post holder will coordinate access, liaise with contractors and retrofit assessors, engage with residents to overcome barriers to access, and maintain clear records and audit trails in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within housing, construction or a related sector.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to engage with residents and stakeholders and manage challenging situations professionally.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.
• Good IT skills and attention to detail.
