Job summary

Sanctuary Group at The Winding, Helsby, WA6 0FP invites a Customer Supporter to join a compassionate team in our retirement community. You’ll welcome residents at front of house, create engaging activities, and help individuals stay connected with their local community.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a flexible approach for weekends, and basic Word/Excel knowledge. We offer extensive leave, pension benefits, and a supportive, not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards it.
Ability to develop and lead activities that engage customers.
Strong interpersonal and customer care skills.
Flexible approach for weekend work.
Basic IT skills with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and provide front of house reception support.
Create engaging individual and group activities that reflect personal interests.
Promote and review activities to help customers achieve their goals.
Support customers to connect with and feel part of their local community.
