Job summary

HC-One is seeking a dedicated Chef for our care home kitchen. You will prepare and serve wholesome, homemade meals that meet nutritional needs and delight Residents, while maintaining high food safety standards.

The role requires an NVQ2 or equivalent, Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, and HACCP knowledge. You will work as part of a caring team, contribute to menu planning, and support residents' wellbeing with tasty, balanced dishes.

Qualifications

• Qualified with S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate required.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve wholesome, homemade meals for Residents.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen practice (HACCP).
• Contribute to menu planning and presentation of nutritious dishes.
• Act as a supportive, caring team member within HC-One.
