Hill Care Group is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support residents in our residential home. You will assist with daily activities, promote comfort and well-being, and uphold high standards of care and dignity.

The role requires effective communication, teamwork, and a willingness to undertake vocational training. A satisfactory police check is required to ensure residents' safety.

Formación

• Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Team player with willingness to train.
• Satisfactory Police Check and POVA where applicable.
• Desirable: Vocational qualification or related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Care: Assist with washing, toileting, dressing and daily living activities.
• Provide care with dignity, comfort and emotional support.
• Assist residents with mobility and use of aids.
• Monitor residents and report changes to senior staff.
• Support continence and end-of-life care where needed.
• Record daily care plans and follow home policies.
• Support social activities and hobbies to promote well-being.
• Answer nurse call, door and phone inquiries promptly.
• Assist with meal times and feeding considerations.
• Escort residents for outings and appointments.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all interactions.
