Job summary

Hill Care Group is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant for the night team at our Residential home. You will support Residents with daily living activities, assist with mobility, and help ensure comfort and dignity at all times.

Strong communication and a genuine passion for helping others are essential. The role involves assisting with routines, meals, and light housekeeping, while adhering to health and safety policies and participating in mandatory training.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
• Good communication at all levels.
• Team player, supportive to colleagues.
• Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes.
• Satisfactory Police Check and check against the POVA List (where applicable).
• Desire for relevant vocational qualification and client-experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with washing, toileting, dressing and daily living activities.
• Support residents in all care needs (physical, emotional, spiritual) while maintaining dignity.
• Monitor those with limited mobility; use aids effectively.
• Respond to Nursecall and pass on messages promptly.
• Assist with meals, set/clear tables, and maintain hygiene.
• Escort residents to activities and outings and help maintain a comfortable environment.
